Covid 19 at Patrick J Design Co.

Covid19 most definitely took a toll on the 2019 – 2021 dance season/dance industry. Not only were dance studios shut down for about a year, but many got sick, lost their jobs, and couldn’t do what they most love to do, DANCE! When we received notice that our “non-essential” business would have to close our doors to not only our clients but our staff, we were devastated.

We desperately wanted to help in anyway we could. A week after closing shop, we took what we had, FABRICS, and began making adult and child face masks out of our lycra fabric. We sold thousands. For every mask sold, 1 was donated to an essential worker at a local hospital or police station. For about 2 months, daily hospital trips became the norm. A big THANK YOU to all dedicated essential workers who worked tirelessly around the clock to keep our community safe and functioning. We appreciate you more than you’ll ever know!

Since reopening our doors again at Patrick J Design Company, we’ve had some minor set backs in sales and production time. We’ve had to close our shop multiple times due to employees contracting the virus. Nonetheless, we caught up with our orders/production time and are pleased to announce we are all fully vaccinated.

In the midst of all the chaos, thank you again for your continued support during these trying times. We couldn’t have made it through this year without you!

Wishing you all an amazing rest of the season! Goodluck at competition! Don’t forget to tag us, @patrickjdesign, in your Patrick J dancewear.  Can’t wait to show you what we have in store for you the 2021 – 2022 dance season!

We look forward to a busy & HEALTHY year!
